The Prank is what a crew does to show the world they are competing for the streets. A public decloration saying 'we're bringing it.' The crazier the better but for proof the crew must video tape it and post it online, then it spreads like wildfire.

In the begining of the movie the 410 crew (including Andie) dance in a subway. Later, after Andie is kicked out of the crew she and her new crew dance in verious public places without being seen by passers by.
